Her movies are what made me want to write.  Her dialog made her characters.  Simple and clean.

He was amazing artist that believed there was no such thing as a 'nobody' just people we did know, yet.  He may have been in 'bad' projects but he NEVER did a poor job.

A personal friend, who was an amazing writer that had the biggest heart and was the heart of my neighborhood in Brooklyn.  He will always be sorely missed and loved.  He gave me the best pieces of advice and I often ask myself 'What would Ric do?'

One of my favorite directors.  He had the amazing gift of telling a story and holding actor's trust in the palm of his hand

He has flaws, MANY flaws.  But he can write dialog that will make your head spin.
